Created and run by
craftsman Bill Anderson and partner Eileen Sundquist in
Jamestown, NY. Blue Heron Industries(BHI) crafts
proffessional studio quality instruments. The instuments are
djembes (along with other hand drums), dijeridoos, shakers and
rattles. Also produced by BHI are high quality drum
bags.
Currently in its twelth
year of operation BHI provides other services as well. Hand
drum workshops, drum circle facilitation, drum making workshops and
educational performances are all offered.
These are brought to you from the Blue Heron Rhythm
Experiment(BHRX), a branch of BHI.
Bill's drums have been spread throughout
the country as well as the world. He has provided
drums to performing groups such as Big Leg Emma, Donna the
Buffalo, Joseph Shabala of Ladysmith Black Mambazo (South Aftrican
group tied to Paul Simon), Rusted Root, Smack Dab, Sim Redmond Band
amidst others.
