Russell is
currently a senior elementary and
English education major at Clarion University of
Pennsylvania. Also, he is a singer/songwriter and performs
music solo and with several groups around the Clarion area. He
has been performing for several years now. For writing Russ
looks to everyday people and situations for instpiration, as well as
his faith, stories and other songs. The draw toward music came
initially from melodies. This developed into an interest in
lyrics and their meanings. Eventually turing toward the power
of communication through music.
Aside from music Russ enjoys
the sport of basketball and also playing xbox.
A current group Russell is
organizing goes by the name Bella Rex. They play acoustic
folk-pop music and has played several shows between
the Clarion, PA area and Jamestown, NY.
